Knee Pain

There are many causes of knee pain and many structures can be involved. No matter what the injury is use the acupressure to help manage your pain and speed your recovery time. Remember don’t apply acupressure directly on an area of swelling or severe pain. You can, however, use surrounding points. Always consult a physician or therapist if your pain is severe and/or lasts longer than a couple of days.

Stomach 35 – is a local point that can help reduce knee pain and swelling. To find  Stomach 35 flex your knee to 90°. Stomach 35 can be found in the deep depression just on the outside of your knee cap

Extra 33- is also a local point that helps with knee pain. To find Extra 33 flex your knee to 90°. Extra 33 can be found in the deep depression just on the inside of your knee cap
